This is the view from the roof of my house in Austin, Texas. This view has given me inspiration for the last 6 years, sometimes even without my noticing. The wide open hills of Austin roll over the plains of Texas will such grace, it is hard to not be relaxed in such an enviornment.
I have loved photography since I was a young child, but wasn't serious about it until high school, when I had to take a photo for an art assignment. Since then I have created a website, had two internships with photography companies, had a single show for my photography at a hair salon selling four pieces, and I have gone to Prague with a National Geographic photographer. Although this does not define me, this is a large part of what makes me who I am.
Along with photography, I have always had a deep passion for animals. I have owned an albino hedgehog, a genet, an armadillo lizard, a leopard gecko, a Chinchilla, and many more. I have also volenteered at the Steve Erwin Zoo in Australia for two weeks in my third summer of high school. I helped to clean all of the cages while also being able to hold and play with the wonderful animals surrounding me.
These two passions of mine often combine to create something wonderful. Taking pictures of things I know so much about gives me some of my favorite photos, while at the same time, taking pictures of things I know nothing about can create a photo with more mystery and grabs my interest so much more.
These are only some of the things that make me, me.
